Several problems that should be paid attention to when using diaphragm pump

The pneumatic diaphragm pump is a volumetric pump that is driven by compressed air and undergoes volume change through reciprocating deformation of the diaphragm. Its working principle is similar to that of a plunger pump.
    Pay attention to the following points when operating with a pneumatic diaphragm pump:

    1. Ensure that the maximum particles contained in the fluid do not exceed the maximum safe passage diameter of the diaphragm pump.

    2. The intake pressure should not exceed the maximum allowable pressure of the pump. Compressed air above the rated pressure may cause personal injury and property damage and damage the performance of the pump.

    3. Ensure that the diaphragm pumping piping system can withstand the highest output pressure achieved and ensure the clean and normal working conditions of the driving pneumatic system.

    4. Static sparks may cause explosions and personal injury and property damage. Use wires with a large cross-sectional area as needed to properly ground the grounding screws on the diaphragm pump.

    5. The grounding requirements are in compliance with local laws and regulations and some special requirements on site.

    6. Fasten the diaphragm pump and each connecting pipe joint to prevent static sparks from being rubbed by vibration. Use an antistatic hose.

    7. Periodically check and test the reliability of the grounding system, requiring a grounding resistance of less than 100 ohms.

    8. Maintain good exhaust and ventilation, away from inflammable, explosive and heat sources.

9. The exhaust of the pump may contain solid objects. Do not point the exhaust port to the work area or people to avoid personal injury.

    10. When the diaphragm fails, the delivered material will be ejected from the exhaust muffler.

    11. When transporting flammable and toxic fluids, connect the drain to a safe place away from the work area.

    12. Use a pipe with a smooth inner wall of at least 3/8" inner diameter to connect the vent and muffler.

    13. The high pressure of the fluid may cause serious personal injury and property damage. Please do not perform any maintenance work on the pump and the pipe system when the pump is pressurized. For maintenance, first cut off the intake air of the pump and open it. The bypass pressure relief mechanism relieves the piping system and slowly loosens the connected pipe joints.

    14. If the harmful toxic fluid pump is delivered, please do not send the pump directly to the manufacturer for repair. Properly dispose of in accordance with local laws and regulations, and use the genuine accessories of Shanghai Guangzheng Pump & Valve Co., Ltd. to ensure the service life.

    15. Pumps using aluminum alloy materials for liquid transport. Please do not use to transport Fe3+ containing liquids and halogenated hydrocarbons and other halogenated hydrocarbon solvents. Corrosion will cause the pump to burst.

    16. Ensure that all parts that contact the conveyor are not corroded by the fluid being transported.

    17. Ensure that all operators are familiar with the operation and use of the pump's safe use precautions, if necessary, with the necessary protective equipment.

    18. The correct diaphragm pump does not allow long-term dry running.
